A Tony Award-winning theater company, the South Coast Repertory wanted to expand their existing facilities. The resulting addition houses a 340-seat multi-purpose theater, a Children’s Theater and new classroom and administration space.
A grand lobby creates a seamless link between the original structure and the new construction while a paved plaza in front of the theater provides space for patrons to gather before events. The project also included a full renovation of the existing 507 seat main stage theater.
